I just recently got myself a DVD burner and my friends have told me to use DVD-Shrink. When I start encoding its going at a decent rate but then the rate decreases taking almost 2 hours to encode.

Another question is should the encryption staus say "Encrypted" or "Not Encrypted"?

Also my friends told me that once its done encoding, it will eject the DVD and have you insert the DVD-R for burning but my burner hasn't done that.

Can anyone help me with any of these problems?

pc specs? are you using deep analysis and or quality enhancements? both will make the process slower.

And how much are you compressing the DVD

If its less then 60 then reauther it and just rip the main movie no extras.
