I'm reading this thing on how to patch an ID on a backup so you can play online...How is everyone playing online when sony is banning the PS2 with that ID from all PS2 games online...Should I worry or should I just play it online

If you use your own id, you shouldn't be getting banned.

If I use one from DISC ID Utility will I get banned?? I'm copying my friends game but wanna play it online! Will I get banned??

'Disc id utility' just reads the dnas id right off your original disc.

I don't play online, but from what i recall, i think if you would both play online at the same time using the same id, it would ban your ps2 consoles.

Someone else could confirm or correct this.

I've heard that in another thread, again i'm not sure how accurate it was. I would just suggest looking into it a little more before jumping in.
