I purchased a Panasonic Q Gamecube and I tried burning my image of Mario Power Tennis on a normal size DVD with Nero but when I put it in it said NO DISC. I know how to burn PS2, XBOX, and DC games for backup , but I'm new at the Gamecube. I don't want to do streaming since I don't have PSO or a Broadband Adaptor so if anyone can help out or knows how to burn a Gamecube game on a normal size DVD for the Panasonic Q, please let me know.

I do not have a modchip in my Panasonic Q. I have an unmodded version but I heard it could read burned games since it reads burned DVD movies already. I would put a modchip in it but I do not know how and I can't find any services online that have installation services for the Panasonic Q. If anyone knows of any services that will install in a Panasonic Q let me know. Thanks.

I finalized them, I'm positive I did. WOuld they still play without a modchip though. I have an image of Mario Tennis USA edition and I changed the .gcm to .iso and burned it with Nero but when I put it in my Panasonic Q it says NO DISC.

YOU CAN'T PLAY WITHOUT A MODCHIP, IF YOU WANT ONE; YOU SHOULD CHECK IF THE ONES THAT ARE AVAILABLE ARE COMPATIBLE WITH Q; IF NOT; JUST BUY A GAMECUBE

There is currently no modchip out for the Panasonic Q.
The only mod for the Q is the region free and MP3 support mod nothing more.

So, Ize, your playing burned gamecube games on your Q without the help of a modchip, AR, PSO or a BBA?

No, don't have a Q, but thats not what the statement was about.
What he was reffering to, Quote: YOU CAN'T PLAY WITHOUT A MODCHIP
Was that gamecube cannot play backups without a modchip.
That is false, the Cube can play backups with out a mod.

So Ize, how are you getting your Q to play burned games. I still can't get mine to play burned games. Keeps saying NO DISC. I'm using DVD-R discs. Should I use DVD+R?

the thread is about Q playing backup games since the begining so what I said is right, YOU CAN'T PLAY BACKUP GAMES WITH Q, YOU NEED A MODCHIP,PSO Y BBA, OR ANY OTHER EXISTING METHOD

It is possible to play copied games without a chip in your gamecube; GCos in combination with max drive pro. But has anyone tested this with the panasonic Q cube? I have one too, but never tested.
please tell me if this works with Panasonic Q,
