Problems with Audio on DVD-R

I have recently started burning DVD movies to disc and have run into the following problems.

1. Some movies have great sound but it is unbalanced. The voices in the movie are muffled and the music and background sound are overwhelming.- Anyone know how to fix a problem like this.

2. I have several videos that are in two languages on the same track (Spanish/English) I burned the file using Nero but it will only play the Spanish language in the DVD player. Any ideas on this.

Well, Jerome try playing them on ur pc first for the audio problem. I know when I use shrink I can choose to leave out all the foriegn language and just choose 5.1 English. Try them in your friends dvd player as well, it may just be a compatibility issue. ---zen-->

Are these movies downloaded or ripped from a commercial disc?

These are downloaded movies. The video is great but the audio tracks are the problem
