I believe it was called RiDATA. RiDATA is probably one of the best DVD-R around so yea, u should buy them if you want your DVD games to last long.

also if you're planning to buy RiDATA DVD-R 50 Pack from canada computers, they will rip you off with the DVD pack so just becareful ^_^.

The 8x it the G05. Be careful. G04 is what u want. That's the 4x. There's been alot of problems with the 05. Some say it's ok. But alot others think it's junk.

Ritek Ridata is basically just a brand type for Ritek.

There are many different Ritek Ridata's made, such as, Ritek Ridata GO2, Ritek Ridata GO3, Ritek Ridata GO4, Ritek Ridata GO5, Ritek Ridata M02, and so on.

The best by far are the G03 and G04 Ritek Ridata's. If you get any other type, you might as well order some cheap memorex's or Imations as they are right around the same quality, which is not very good.

So before you order I would e-mail the company and see if they sell the G03 or G04 Ridata's.

You can buy a 100 pk.of the G04 models from this site for only $29.00...

For me Its VERBATIM (MCC)
when thats not available or on sell
I get FUJIFILM (YUDEN).

I buy them loacally at best buy.
Its easy to get fakes on the internet.
But its YOUR money.

With ritek there are so many manufactureres
honesly you dont know what your gonna get.
If its G04 when its identified then they
will probably be ok.

i just stick with verbatim always (MCC)
the fujifilm are sometimes (RICOH)
but mostly i get +r (YUDEN)

Here is a dvd media site.

I've been using e3Works from Futureshop in Canada. $100 for 100. Been using them for a few years and never had a problem. Except when my burner died. Made about 10 coasters lol.
