i have back up some of my games with the older version of dvd decrypter, by burning the mds file, the old one would bring up a thing that would say use the mds file. But i just updating dvd decrypter to the new one and also just patch my first online game, that's why i need to know if i should burn the mds or the .iso? (PimpDawg) if i burn the MDS file well the patch game play online? thanks

dont know much about patching, but there are a lot of threads on it if you do a search. as for dvddecryptor, select either mds or iso because the program will automatically select the correct one. There is also a guide on how to use dvddecryptor.

PS2 V7
DMS3 V2
DVD Decrypter
Ritek G04s
(DVD-5 games work flawlessly, no need for workaround)
(DVD-9 is another story, searching for step-by-step tutorial)

XBOX
Xenium Ice
250GB Maxtor

GC (unmodded)

AMD Athlon 2600+
MSI KN72 Motherboard

Yah, best choice is to always use the .mds file when available.

you got a 50-50 chance. but if you pick the mds file, it will tell the burner how to burn the iso file. on the new version of dvddecryptor, pick either one (mds or iso) and the program will burn you a good copy regardless. If you kcuf up you only lose a dvd, but those are pretty cheap nowadays, and the learning experience is worthwhile.
