i just got my swap magic v 3 but will it load my dvd+r media or do i need to buy some dvd-r? i havent tried but dont want to oppen the +r if i cant use them with the swap magic.

SwapMagic can boot either fine.

Only thing you need to look out for is if your ps2 itself can read them. All versions can read -r's, but most v1-3's only use -r's, some version 4's can do both, and everything after can do either.
