Does anyone know if there is a special software that will make your DVDBurner burn at 1x?? My Burner only burns at 4x...It is not the media I'm using either I have tried other and will only burn at 4x

Using dvd identifier will tell you the speeds you
media can be burned.

Get media your Burner Manufacturer Recommends.
I use verbatim or fujifilm 8x max.
I get options of 1x 2x 2.4x 4x 8x.

Update your Firmware.

But on my box of my DVD Burner it says it will not burn at 1x...It says for all media the lowest it will burn is 4x! I'm just wondering if there is a special software that will make my DVD Burner burn at 1x! I have tried like 30 diff medias it doesn't make a differnce about them! But is there a software that will make my DVD Burner burn at 1x

Ok nevermind I just read the Burner box...It says it burns at -R max 8x and for +R 16x but it doesn't say I cannot burn at 1x...I have Maxell and they will not burn at 1x...I don't know which DVD-R will burn at 1x
