hi, the patch doesn't work wtf? i use swap magic 3.3 is this patch for swap magic 2.X ? i have readt it!!!!!!

also make a swap magix 3.3 patch!!!

DvdRick released a Proper patch for Swap Magic v2.0 users awhile ago,might want to check that out.

I tried the patch for chaos theory PAL using swapmagic 2.0 did not work just a blank screen. Before I patched the game the game would load then stall when I selected single player. Have given up with the available patches and have just ordered swapmagic 3.3. I have a version 7 PS2. Will let people know If the game loads with the new version swapmagic discs on my Console.

Did you try loading the game without the patch using swapmagic 3.3? What version PS2 do you have and is the game PAL or ntcs?

i use swap magic 3.3 this game is PAL (german)! the ps2 version is 70004 slim pstwo

I have loaded the game with swap magic without a problem, where is the game getting messed up that a patch is required? Have I just not played it long enough to find a problem?

it seems to work for some peaopl without a patch, i didnt work for me thats why i had to find the patch.
At the time i was using dvd 2.0 then recentely upgraded to 3.6 maybe the newer ones work without a patch applied

Received swap magic 3.3 this morning. Loaded the first burnt chaos theory DVD before I patched it and it loads! May depend on what version PS2 you have as to whether it works or not. Swapmagic version 2.0 will not load the game and the patch did not work for me.

I made a backup of splinter cell chaos and it works without the patch. I think it works because I had saved data on the memory card when I played with the original dvd. I used swap magic v3.6.

If I apply the patch can I play the splinter cell chaos game online even if the copy doesn't use the dvd online fix found on PS2NFO.com? Meaning do you need to patch the game with the Disc ID from my original to paly online or does the ppf patch let you do it without the ID from the original?
