I cant get viper1.0 to burn to dvd, I get the foreign image wrong block size error, i click ignore and it burns but it burns about 2gigs of space on the disk, for the 80 some K image, and of course GC says unknown file system. please help I lost my flash unit.

The VGC file is not a disc image, it's just a binary file. You need to create an ISO9660 image and then add the VGC file to the compilation.

It's an awful waste of a DVD-R though for 87kb... might as well get AR codes for all your games and add those to the disc as well! Or just put the VGC file onto some other ISO9660 DVD-R disc you're making, like a backup of all your pictures or documents or something.
