what is Patches, what is it used for?

If I buy backup games from a web site that said the games been test and work, do I still have to rebuild it or Patches it??

only if u have Swap Magic and bought games that work fine on a chip but need patch to work with Swap Magic

i get a magic 3.3 with a slide card, do I need to rebuild it, even if they test it

You may need to rebuild it depending on the game if you're going to use the Swap Magic. The backups you buy online are guaranteed 100% with a mod chip unless they specify otherwise. If you're thinking of buying one online, why don't you search the title here first to see if anyone else had to rebuild it.

Hey littlem, What games are you thinking about getting? There's more than one game that needs patched. I don't have a list of the games that need patched and I use a mod chip anyhow, so I haven't needed to patch any of my games.
