God of War with SONIX fix - Music skipping?

In the game, a few music tracks don't play correctly. They go for 5 seconds, break up, repeat.

Any ideas why this could be?

EDIT: Rest of game works ok.

thats the way d patch is.u should use a dvd+r for better results.

I had the same thing happen to me. Also, I had a point in the game where you return the second necklace to that place, and it froze for like 5 mins. Mine is burned on -r media. I got past that point and the music and gameplay was fine from then on out.

i had the same problem with GOD OF WAR backup, that the music track don't play correctly it breaks up and repeat. second problem that i encounted was also when you explore to some areas with loadings it took like 5 mins on loading screen to proceed through out back in the game, tobi2yul mention that using DVD+R media will resolve the problem for someone used swapmagic method?. what kind of blank media dvd+r or dvd-r BRANDS works best for God of War? does DVD+R works on unModed PS2 with fliptop using swapmagic V2?...coz i haven't try using dvd+r media
