i read through the forums about changinging a img file to an iso file,and ive done it sucsesfuly on one file.but i have one now that stays as a img file?ive noticed some files are name eg. my file.img and all you have to do is change the .img bit to .iso but i changed my file name and it stays as a img file even though its named myfile.iso?? am i barking up the wrong tree here? the file im talkin about is team america on dvd and i can watch it with windows media player although it says its an unreconised format!all i wanna do is burn it to dvd and watch it on my home player.i use dvd dycrypter to burn my files. i also have nero and clone dvd.do i have to convert the file? any sugestions?? thanx in advance

If you really want to convert it, you can moutn its using Alcohol 120%/52% or Daemon Tools, and then rip an iso with one of the multiple software that can do this.
