the super nes rom on my xbox won't load and says that it's locked. can anyone tell me how to unlock it?

The only sure way to get this problem fixed is to reformat your Hard drive with a current EvoX dashboard. But a safer way is to go to XPORT and download a new snes emulator. Once that's done, delete the one that you have on your xbox via FTP and install the new one. Do any of your other emulators work? If not, then I recommend the first idea i had. How important are the emulators to you?

Very important.is there any chance that any of my other roms will accidentally be deleted if i try to re download the snes rom?

not if you only delete the snes xbe file and not the entire snes file on the xbox. Your roms are saved in the roms folder, just don't touch that folder. To be safe, copy what you have to your PC and use that as a back up if all else fails.
