i have tried burning ps2 dvd games 3 different ways.

Dvd decrypter

nero

recordnowmax

All 3 ways i get some error, or the finished product doesnt work. WTF!! i follow the directions exactly.

any ideas?

Please tell me you use Swap Magic. You can't play burned games without some sort of booting device.

i have a modded ps2. i have about 20 burned games already a long time ago... and did them myself using a Pioneer A03 and Recordnow Max. But that was 2 years ago, and my burner completely crapped out.

I just bought a new burner, which works fine for everything else but this. i get errors burning the disc using Decrypter, i get a message that says my Nero 6 cant do the backup because of incorrect file (both gi. and iso.) and for some reason recordnow max doesnt recognize the burner (but roxio, nero and decrypter can).

i follow all the directions to a 'T' and burn at 2x.

i can do it all with Record Now easily, but it doesnt recognize my burner ??

Does your chip still work? Can you play any burned games that you were able to play before?

yes i play my 2003 burned games all the time. but like i said, i burned them 2 years ago, and now no program works with 2 different dvd burners i have purchased.

Benq and LG burners. Neither of them worked with any of the programs. I get errors when i try to burn the games (at sllloww speeds).

I have only backed-up a dozen PS2 games (i prefer x-box) but the PS2 games I have backed-up I've used DVD Decrypter and a LG burner.. They have all worked (the only game I have had a drama with was GT4 but after reading the oter forums I def know why)..

I cant help with the Benq burner though...
