I've tried to backup Spanglish using latest version of Decrypter. No go. Can't use AnyDVD. Trial period is over. Have DVD for Free (DVD43) no go. No way to get pass encryption. Any ideas?

None of them seem to solve my problem. This is what the log shows using the latest version of Decrypter:

Tried it another time and got several saying "Packer Header Not Found". Also, when playing from the HDD, I get no video or audio from VTS 7.1, video but no sound in VTS 7.2 and the rest seem to be fine. When burning from HDD using CloneDVD or Xcopy Xpress RF, I get an error reading C:/DVD_TS/VTS_08_2.VOB: invalid file size.

Suggestions?

Oh! Should also mention I don't have the money to pay to purchase AnyDVD, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have this problem.

Have you tried using DVD Shrink after ripping with Decrypter in File Mode to your hard drive.

Turn off DVD43 and any other programs you have running in the backround before ripping with Decrypter.

Make sure all your Decrypter settings are set to Default and see if that works.

Thanks Wild but that wasn't my problem either, appreciate the help though. I actually had previously tried DVD Shrink as well.

To all who may still be having problems backing up SPANGLISH: If you tried what you think may be everything after searching the forums, try UPDATING YOUR FIRMWARE FOR PC DVD BURNER!

I'm not a novice at this but even those of us who are profficient tend to overlook some obviuous things from time to time.

I had the latest of DVD Decrypter a day after the update. I tried backing up Spanglish...it didn't work. I was stuck without AnyDVD because I let the trial period run out and don't have the money to purchase it. DVD43 didn't work and I'd already tried to back it up with DVD Shrink which also didn't work. I went through no video/audio to video/no audio and host of problems I'm sure you guys have seen. I frequent a site called SHOP4TECH.COM for supplies and other PC and home office needs. When pricing blank DVDs, I noticed they had a link to update the firmware to most burners, so I did.

Once I did that, I pulled my saved to HDD of Spanglish, ran it through DVD Shrink with full analysis, burned using CloneDVD and OH! HAPPY DAY!

Oh! One last thing, a lot of you would do well to search the forums for answers and save the new thread postings for real problems to solve. Raise your hand if your guilty of this. Mine is up!
