I rented the Belly special edition dvd from blockbuster. Tried to burn by using the encoding into shrink then burn in decypter method and it has no sound....but when I play it in powerdvd, it works like normal. Can someone tell me how to get the sound to work on my dvd player like it does in powerdvd. Thanks

Well it's not your disc if PowerDVD will play it. Have you had any problems with anyother backups? check your standalones settings.

What audio stream(s)did you keep on the DVD?
What audio stream(s)did you remove if any?

For example, if you removed all mandatory audio streams and only keeped an optional audio stream like DTS, it may play audio in some versions of PowerDVD with a DTS decoder or on a DVD player with a DTS decoder connected to a DTS receiver, but not on just a regular standalone DVD player.

Can you change the audio through the menu on the disc? I noticed that a few movies I copied with DVD X Copy automatically started with the sound set to DTS, which I am not using so I get no sound, but if I change it in the menu it's fine. Never had that problem when using DVD Shrink though...
