Hi

I just got a PS2 v12 (slim), and I'm looking into ways to mod it without voiding the warranty. So far the best solution I could find is the "Magic Switch" (like this one: http://www.gocybershop.ca/customer/product.php?productid=1301&cat=191&page=2)

I've read this forum and it looks like at least one person has tried it, and had a little bit of trouble. Can anyone else out there share their experiences with this mod? Did it work? Did it not work? Where did you buy from?

i have fitted this mod myself and i like it. Its a pain in the ass to install though. Although it is effective and very cheap, i see it as a good alternative to replacing the cd tray and voiding the warranty. But you have to be careful its very britle and the little bits can break easy and as i said its very tedous to install took me like 32mins but hey it was worth and it only cost me about $12 and i got it from linker4u.com .
