Trouble burning PS2 game using DVD Decrypter

Hello, I have tried buring a ps2 game using dvd decrypter and it says it completes successfully and i only do it at 1x or 2x using a Memorex DVD-R disc. It sounds like its loading in the ps2 but comes up with a disc read error. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well you can't play booted games without a mod chip or the use of the Swap Magic discs. Which do you have?
