I have burned hundreds of the GO4 Ritek branded Ridata (4X inkjet printable). What problems are you having?? Have you updated the firmware for your drive?

I have burned over 300 hundred ridisc with not a single problem, what works for one doesnt work for another avoiding ridisc like the plague is a bit strong IMO.

Burn rubber that doesn't mean warp speed

yeah im with babel, i have seen some faulty ridisc. its best to read the serial number on the disc which is near the middle of the dic on the clear bit.

But then again ut could be your dvd-drive or even the program your using, may i ask what writing program you are using?

i used DVD Decrypter and that read the disc fine b4 writing but once burnt, nothing could read the discs... also tried the program that is given with the writer (Cyberlink Power2go) and that said that i need to place a disc into the drive that it could use, even tho the disc was already in...
ps, the serial on the middle of the disc says (on the silver rim): DR5A02.-61166 and the funny thing is they are written backwards... lol, dunno what the problam can be, it just may be that the discs are not combatable (sp?) with my drive... is there anyway to find out what discs are combatible?/// ps, i use the drive: sony dvd rw dw-d22a which does seem to get mixed reviews... dunno

Your drive more than likely needs the firmware update as others have told you already. Updating the firmware is normally done to drives so they can read all the different types of media out there. RitekG04 are normally one of the top manufature ID's you can have it is the newer RitekG05's that are giving people more problems. So those disks should be fine you need to look into updating your firmware.
