dont buy CompUSA 100-pack 4x DVD-R by FMI !!

Several weeks ago I bought several:

4x DVD-R Media, 120 Minute / 4.7GB, Spindle, 100 Pack
Product Number: 316438
Mfr. Part #: 100607
Brand: FMI

from CompUSA for incredibly low price of $19.99. I've been able to dub VCR->DVD using an Emerson DVD recorder - which requires DVD-R 4x - and after finalizing the above type DVD-R's I'm able to play them back on that unit BUT none of these FMI brand DVD-R CDs will play on my computer, a Dell XPS! The computer does NOT recognize the fact that there is a CD in the DVD drive. I do NOT have this problem with TDK DVD-R 4x that I've dubbed, Windows XP Media Center plays them without any difficulty. The I think CompUSA was aware of this problem and was dumping these lousy CD's. I will be returning all my un-opened FMI 100-packs to CompUSA.
