ok I am pretty sure I downloaded a patch for splinter cell pandora tomorrow...but the only thing in the .zip file I downloaded was a .cue file and a .bin file! is this a patch or not??

could be, i didn't have to patch that game myself.
If you don't get an ISO file they sometimes give you a Bin & Cue file, you then burn the Cue file the same way you would an ISO.
The only patch i ever had was totally different than that.
it was a file and when i unzipped it there was the patch.
I put the patch in the folder with my ISO and ran it and it did it's thing and made a new ISO.

Hope someone has your answer.

But the .cue and .bin file are REALLY SMALL FILES~ I mean they aren't even big enough to be a game...
