I apologize to all the 'informed' techies out there,
but I am a true novice.
i just installed a DVD/cd dual layer writer/burner
and the NERO software that came with it.
I also downloaded (suggested by the sales guy)
slysoft : CLONEDVD and ANYDVD.
Now, not being a computer guy, I am stuck.
Everyone has said that the software will prompt me through
but that is not true.
I have been on the net trying to find a site that will
give me step-by-step instructions.
I do realize that the variables in the process are many,
but I just need to get things started
from a very novice perspective.

Raider54, welcome to AD...you can't get anymore novice, or better step by step instructions than this.

ScubaPete's website gives you the instructions on DVD burning. If you have problems, Afterdawn's "informed" techies are here to help you out. Try out this link and see how it works for you. It's got great step by step instructions. Be sure to report back and let us know how you did or if you run into any problems.

Much Thanks from Raider54. I am at work so I won't get to try your suggestions until tonight, but I really appreciate your response.
