Yeah, Well, there are probably some dummy files somewhere in the dvd. But what I did was delete that english commentary from the Special Features. That cleared enough space. But of course, I couldn't hear the Special features. But the Rest of the movie works fine. YOu can delete the commentary on DVD Shrink if you wan't to.

My way is the simplist way to do it. Just uncheck the 73mb subtitle obtion in the special features folder in DVD Shrink. But there will be no audio when you try to watch the special features.

@Argg, there's no dummy files on this disc. Movie only in DVD Shrink is what the original poster wants to do..

Are these considered double posts? Then again, my replies to his double posts could be considered double posts, so....NEVER MIND.

Using DVD Shrink, did you back up the whole DVD, minus that audio section and if so what was the compression?
There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that do not.

Agreed. Unless you feel it a necessity, do a reauthor and main movie only. It'll cut your encoding time by more than half.

I also have a problem coping After the Sunset. Using DVD Shrink I get as far as 26% and it stops with an error: Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)
Decyption Status at time of stop is: E8:C1:83:82:BA
I've tried DVD Decrypter with no luck.
I tried re-authoring with Title 1 only (No Director's Comments)
I have the latest versions of both softwares.
Any Suggestions?
I am running Windows XP, 1.5 GB Ram and plenty of HD space.

Postman, your typical CRC errors are caused by these problems:
1. A dirty disc,
2. A scratched disc
3. A poor quality disc (cheap media if it happens during the "Burn" section of your work)
4. A bad disc from the Mfgr.
Have you tried cleaning the disc? Make sure it's free of scratches? What type of blank media are you using?

Sounds like you have #4 on Crozzman's list. You may not see the problem but your burner does.
If you have another drive try that on.
If not try Decrypter with ignore read errors - depending on how bad they are will affect your playback - may be unnoticeable may not be (see Scuba Pete's 'hard to rip'guide - http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/index.htm)
Last exchange it for a new one.
It seems they are more and more bad pressing of movies. Sounds like you got a bad one.
