hi ppl i have a pal v7 ps2 with a matrix infinity modchip

i have been reading on here about sum new firmware release for the chip

that will allow me to play gt4 ( backup ).

Now do i need a hdd 4 this or can i run it off the disc.

If so were can i get the firmware and what exactly do i do with it.

are there any risks involved.
