i have a new sony dual layer dvd rom and it copy games and moive just find i am using memorex dvd+r and it copys game and movie perfect so far

cheers i have got a msi 4 x dvdwriter and i use datasafe dvd-r x4 disks i backed up fifa 2004 the other day but the sound is a bit skippy would that improve with dvd+r disk or better disk

to tell you the truth i have never used dvd- i have alway use dvd+ memorex and it work great and the sound has never given me a problem

do you know what model your ps2 is mine is v4 old onemy be its that. i burned the fiffa 2004 disk at 2x .but i burned burnout3 at 2x before it and its fine work great strange one um!!!!!!!!

you might be wasting your money using dvd+r on a v4,some v4's dont read +r
get some good quality media,like ritek G04'S,stay away from memorex
datasafe are ok if they are made by a good supplier

check yours with this

I love my Sony DRU-700A burner. Burns any type of media including dual layer. Works great with my Phillips 8X DVD-R discs and DVD Decrypter. I never make coasters with it.
Coasters are for my beer, not my games.
