Hello im new to this forum, I use DVD decrpyter then i use alcohol 120% to burn it. But when i use DVD decrpyter it makes an ISO and it makes a .MDS, when i use alcohol20% i just open the ISO image and burn the ISO image. The backup works fine on my ps2 but im scared the game will not work later when i play more of the game. What is the point of this 5kb .MDS file?

Your games will be fine either way. Use the mds in the future. Also, you do know that decrypter will burn your backups, right? Why use 2 differnet programs?

I find using alcohol better for burning, but how do i merge both the ISO and the MDS file together?

I've used alcohol also and it is a nice program. Just select the mds file. The program will do the rest.

I don't think that Alcohol works any better myself. I use DVD Decrypter for all my back ups and they work just fine. Use the MDS file and you can just use DVD Decrypter to do the whole thing. The media will cause you more problems then the burning program.

I use DVD Decrypter and havent had a problem yet, its a top piece of software!

how do u burn at 1x speed with alcohol120 my slowest is 5.1x
