Grrr . grumble .. can't get this frikking thing to work ... downloaded the genie patch ... followed instructions for pal .... game was nowhere near as big as it was supposed to be ;. burned it ... invalid disc
please help !

mine is 4.37gb
and are u certain its PAL?

yes i'm sure i rented it
the original is 4,37 gigs ... without any patch and stuff... i read that it should be around 4,5 to work

the 4.37 gb is correct
when u apply the patch,the size stays the same
are u sure you did it correctly?

yes i'm sure i did it correct ... you just can't do it wrong i followed the steps and used the genie patch ... dvd wasted
i can't use ppfomatic since the genie is not a ppf file
can anyone send me that file and explain me what to do ? perhaps it'll work then

you should be fine with the gnie patch,unless there is a problem with the PAL version,
what disc's are you using,or have had success with other games?

i'm using TDK and Maxell, and i don't have problems
as i said ... there obviously is a problem with the genie patch ... i don't understand why the path downsizes the file with like 1,5 gigs

yes,.....hmmm
it shouldnt,but i am not 100% sure on that,as i have a NTSC version
its a bitch when they take the patches offline,have you tried ps2ownz?
