I recently got a Xenium ice chip with v 2.0 bios....but i have no clue how to use it. if someone could simplify what i need to do to make it do the basic things i would apprecate it very much.
First, go to http://Teamxodus.com and read the Iceguide. Next, you need to back up the Original bios. Finally, you need to find a hacked bios and flash the chip then backup your Eeprom. The bios I would recommend you to flash with is the X2 4983.06 or the EvoxM8 bios. One of my favorite features of the Xenium Ice is the software controlled bios bank selectors, this is an awesome feature that most modchips don't have!! No more manual bank switching, it's controlled with the modchip. You can flash the Xenium via http, HDD, or Dvd-rom drive. I prefer the Xenium web OS interface to flash the chip, all you do is congigure your network settings and type your Static IP address at the top of the address bar. Example:(http:// 192.168.1.254) Once on the Xenium OS screen go to the top of your webpage and type your address in and you'll get some options to Flash, Launch, reboot, and shutdown. Once you select flash, you'll need to browse the folder you put your bios in and select what color LED light you want and then flash....that's all. Cheers
