I recently seen on a site that someone used duct-tape on there new Slim PS2 (Model SCPH-70012). I was just wondering , is that possible and if so , where can i read instructions for this , or if someone can tell me here. Thanks

I was just wondering , is that possible and if so , where can i read instructions for this , or if someone can tell me here. Thanks

I used instructions from this thread to do the internal sensor.

The first page has a post with pictures. I did not use Superglue though. Something doesn't site right about superglue inside a PSTwo.

The other sensor, which you can see in the bottom right corner above your power button, I used this site.

Basically shove a little wad of TP or paper towel in there and tape it down.

I tried the whole straw method, but you can't close the lid and I couldn't get the staw to hit the sensor. It kept opening out and going around it or something. I just opened it up and used the warranty seal as a hinge so you can't even tell its been opened.
