Help needed with CD backups!!

Have tried everything to get CD games to play on PS2 slim. I am using Swap magic 3.3 with a slim tool. DVD backups are playing fine. I'm backing up with Alcohol 120%. I am being told to insert a valid PS2 disc. I have read somewhere that the PS2 will only read CDR74 not CDR80! Is there any truth in it? Is this where I am going wrong?

it will read 80min cdr, but swap magic can only load games up to 630megs.

nope, you would have to buy breaker pro. The only cd games that are over 630megs are ones you download off the internet (they are dvd games that the people ripped to fit on cd).
