Could anyone tell me which is the best DVD-R media for the Pioneer DVR-108 burner (from experience)?

Have used Verbatim 8X, TDK 4X and 8X, Fujifilm03 8X, and Ritek G04 4X. All are DVD-R and worked well without problems. Go for the retail sale prices only, or order online.

I've used Ritek G04, G05, and Prodisc 4x and 8x for most of my burning. I've tried a few of the sampler packs, as well as some Taiyo Yudens.

I think the Prodiscs 8x are the best - low coaster rate and pretty good pricing.

Are you running hacked firmware?
