Help, Ive tryed about everthing i can think of with ftping. ive gone through forum after forum. Changed my Ip settings over and over.Ive gone through maybe 4 differnt FTP programs.... nothing seems to work. someone please HELP

1) Are you using a crossover cable?

2) Are you using the standard name/password for the xbox? (xbox, xbox).

3) Are your LAN properties correct?

no im using a ethernet cord through a hub. i dont know if my LAN is right and yeah im using the port 21 pass xbox user xbox

You probably need to edit your HUB settings to accomodate your xbox, not your LAN.

wait my hub has no settings its plug and play.... hubs the box that lets more than one computer use the internet via ethernet right?

Ok I got it to connect now my problem is

Don't feel bad about the solution being so simple.

Disable any firewalls that are running - Windows XP Firewall or ZoneAlarm will both produce the results you posted.

You know that your XBOX is communicating OK, it is your PC that is not letting the data come back.
