is there anyway i can upload from dvd-r onto my computer for editing? i have a dvd/cdrw drive. thanks

you can use dvddecrypter to rip to hard drive but if you dont have a dvd burner you wont be able to get it back off your computer

ok, i have done that(thanks, it worked) but it uploded the files in . VOB format, is there any way i can change this to .wmv or something windows movie maker will recognise? thanks

here is a guide to convert it to something windows will open and then you can convert it back later when your done. just use the first part of this guide that shows you how to convert the file to avi http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd2svcd_with_tmpgenc.cfm
