Why won't Splinter Cell (first one) backup

I just got it, but I can't back it up. I go to load a mission and it goes to the memory cards, says, "Reading disc," and then says, "Pleaseinsert a PlayStation2 format disc." What's going on here? And I want to specify this is the first Splinter Cell.

search next time. you need to use cd loader.

That still doesn't answer my question. I downloaded that CDLoader, but what do I do with it? It had a bin file and a cue file and two urls. And I did search, but all I could find was stuff about Chaos Theory.

So, I just need to burn the ZIP file on a Data Disc with Nero, or do I need to do something special with the files inside?
I'm sorry if I don't know much about this. Most of my stuff backed up easily with Alcohol.

you open the zip file and burn the bin and cue file to cd with alcohol (there should be a burn image option somewhere).
