Special thanks to G4tv, and the Uxo12 for starting this thread. The games run perfect now. In my opinions, i think we should keep the dummy file b/c i read a thread saying that the ps2 look for these stupid files even they have no purpose. I think that thread is right b/c my bloodrayne2 rebuilt w/o any garbage file DOES NOT work.
Lucky for u 2kwic b/c i spent 1 hr rebuilding this file and 1 extra coaster.

Did you removed dummy files completely instead of replacing them?

well i really didn't have to rebuild it the normal way worked fine for me...but when i do rebuild all my games MERC..NBA V3..REO file 2..T3 redemption..battlefront all work fine the only one i had to work with deleting files and replace files is God of war so if you every rebuild a game try it the regular way with iso buster cddvdgen and the command prompt and burn with dvd decrypter.did it with nero messed up like 4 dvd-r maybe i didn't do it right but the other way was fine for me. It wont hurt to try it good luck guys

last night i was trying to backup the shadow of rome game replacing the dummy.bin file and it didn't work, the message i received says" Not a valid ps2 disc", i will try to rebuild the game by opening the dummy.bin files and deleting the contents.

no i replaced the dummy file w/ the 1 is created (1kb) and it runs very fast. I did the same thing to BLoodrayne2 by replacing the gabarbage file w/ the 1kb file i make, the game came up with a black screen. Can some1 help on this? SHould I always or NOT keep the dummy or garbage files? I'm talking about deleting them completely, not like replacing them, or just replace them.
