Error when trying to open a movie

I have been getting an error when i am about to open certain movies even when I get a different copy of the same movie.
The error:

"DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read file 'D:\'. Data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

Please advice.

what kind of movie what did you burn this with?

i have tried Spanglish, Forgotten and The Punisher. I have actually tried 2 copies for Spanglish.

there are several threads about problems with spanglish search and see how they resolved thier problems
