I use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter for all my burns. I am now encountering a problem trying to burn ?Lemony Snickets?. I?ve uninstalled DVD Decrypter and Shrink, still doesn?t work. I?ve tried decrypting main movie and that doesn?t work. I tried to re-author and can?t add. Every time I try to decrypt it stops and can?t read a file. I skip or abort and keep or delete that file. These scenarios have worked in the past. Not this time, cause when I try to shrink I get: ?Failed to get authentication key?

When I try to just shrink, I get:
I/O Error!

do you have the newest decrypter 3.5.4.0, if not download it then if you still have probs borrow another disc of Lemony Snickets, could be a bad press

Use the new version of DVD Decrypter to rip. There are quit a few movies now DVD Shrink can't rip. With my experiance if DVD Decrypter fails to rip something is wrong with disk damaged,scratched ect.

Thanks to all of those who replied. It turns out that a few of the new Lemony Snickets DVD's were bad. I am going to try another one in a few days.

i only just stumbles across this thread, and was just gonna add that our PAL Lemony Snicket has no funny protections on it, i used trusty l'il ole DVD Shrink to do this one..

Hi I used DVD Shrink to burn lemony snickets at a speed of 2x and its a perfect copy i couldnt use decrypter for some reason

I never tried to burn "LS" again because all the copies I kept getting were bad. Then I got over it.
