that is already installed onto pc? Everytime one opens the programs it ask if you want to update it? what happen's if you do?

NO they never check. Why would they check for that if they already assume you bought the software. Not like Microsoft, they always check 4 things b/c they think every1 is pirating their crappy OS.

really?is that true?because my mate borrowed my xp cd and said he was going to use a different serial number from an illegal site hed found because he didnt know if the same serial would work as it was already registered to me.anyways,the cd wasnt with service pack 2 so he tried to update it (well,i dont know if hes done it yet but hes going to if he already hasnt tried).should i warn him off doing so?will they store his ip address or something and have him tracked down or will it just refuse the update?
