I have been alerted out that I'm going back to Iraq this summer. I have backed up the movies I want to take with me but when I backup my episode based disks ( West Wing, Futurama etc.. ) all I get is either the first episode only or all of them in one long file. I am using DVD Xcopy Platinum 4.0.3.8. Any help would be helpful.

dclark,
X-copy is not the best program to use. Shrink will do it if you use the editing feature. You might try Nero recode also

stop using XCopy ... it doesn't do episodic dvds.

Use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter both are free.

Good luck my friend, be safe.
