GT4 with swap magic

Hi, I know there are many threads about this topic, but they are so long now they are not readable.

I just wondered if there were any patches for this playing this game through Swap Magic 3.

I need to make it DVD5 as I have no DL burner. I can't rip or build the games myself so I downloaded it {file called GT4.USA.DVD5} The first screen came up and hung. This I thought was good news as I would only now need to patch it but I can't find a patch.

If there is no patch then could somebody please give a step by step ripping guide from original DVD9 disc --> DVD5 iso that is ready to burn.

sorry for bleating on but are all new PS2 games going to be encoded this way from now on, and is it possible to backup games newer than GT4

there are no other games up to today's release that have the copy protection like GT4, so i don't think we have to worry about it that much for next coming games
