All was well until I upgraded to ASPI driver 4.7, I was originally running 4.6. Now I can't access either application, and I reverted to 4.6, the system (windows 2000) just crashes, with either set of drivers. Here's the error dump:
Program: copydvd.exe (1.0)

I removed and reinstalled each application with no luck. This is obviously a driver problem for the system is a dual boot and the apps work perfectly in Win98.

How about IDE drivers ?
There might be some registry errors as well, try checking if there is anything that shows the newer ASPI in the registry.

There aren't any ide drivers that would conflict.
And ide drivers present were there when everything worked properly (pre 4.7 update). Nothing was installed post ASPI update.
I've also deleted the registry entries for any ASPI drivers and allowed the installation to re-register them with no luck.
I'm out of any thoughts, hope you've got a few.

I'm afraid this is where I run fresh out of ideas :o(
The only thing I could recommand you is a new re-install of the system, or re-check registry.

That was the conclusion I didn't want to hear.
I'm a Systems Analyst and moreso, obsessive, so I'll keep looking for the solution. If, a big IF, I solve the problem (other than reinstallation) I'll let you know.
Thanks for all of your input.
