I upgraded to the new version of DVD Shrink. I'm able to do every edition, as before, but with the inconvinience of not being able to play videos in the video pane, located in the lower left hand. I'm using Windows XP, any help would be welcomed.

I went to this page: http://www.dvdshrink.info/preferences.php and followed their advice of changing the "Direc X video renderer"

I changed the "Direct X video renderer" and it worked fine with "VMR-7" and "VMR-9", it even worked when I changed it back to "system default renderer", but when I restarted DVD Shrink the problem came back independently of the las "Direct X video renderer". If I changed the option again to any of the three mentioned, it worked until the program was restarted and so on.

I change to "overlay mixer" and now DVD Shrink is showin the video pane without problems, even when the program is restarted.

Thanks Car.Mike for your help.

I must be slow. There were three reponses while I typed my answer.
O.W.

Edit > Preferences > Preview > Select DirectX video renderer:

Try all options.
One or more should work.
If they don't.

1. Is your DirectX current? DirectX 9.0c
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=0A9B6820-BFBB-4799-9908-D418CDEAC197&displaylang=en

2. Press F11 to switch to Full Screen and F11 to to switch back.

3. Your video drivers may need updating.
