Hi all!
It is my first attempt to turn my camcorder(SONY DCR-TRV350-Digital8)footage into a DVD, and it's getting frustrating. In short, the problem is that there is a very noticable deterioration in quality between the original unedited AVI and the resulting DVD. What bothers me is that there are lots of blown out highlites(I know it's a photographic term, but that's exactly what it is) - areas where the sun had created reflections are now, after creating the DVD, completely washed out, no detail or texture to the image!!!!!
Where is the problem?!?!? I tried using both WinDVD Creator and Premiere6/Encore DVD, but the outcome is identicle.
Please, anyone with more knowledge, help.
Thanx a lot
Peter
