Does somebody know when the Cobra 1.2 will be released? And wich features the cobra team are planning?
I hope for:
- 2 disc games swapping
- MP3 Player
- Some type of video player. (avi, mov, wmv....)
- to load text-files. (txt)
- to load images. (jpg, bmp, gif, png...)
- to load .dol-files that works. (not just a pink screen)
- Abillty to connect a hard drive
- Less DRE's
Wich featues are you hoping for?

I hope it will be compaible with DOL-002 Gamecubes (for Brazil).
I am only able to use GCOS at this moment and I have lots of DREs...

well since the 1.2 is out now i hope someone makes a plugin for cheats like a gameshark and the codes can be saved to the memory card. in slot 2 or something since you dont ever use that one anyway.
and then movie support would be nice. :)

here's what's it new:
COBRA FOR VIPER GC V1.2. New in this rel: Multi-disc games support. Introducing Cobra Plug-in System: put a GC program (Game Ripper, MP3 Player, Network loader, etc.) directly in Viper GC Memory! Full Panasonic Q support. Supports disc changing from homebrew applications. A lot of backend changes (the VGC is smaller now!) and some bugfixes.
like to know how and what to use on the Game Ripper and Network loader

i am sry to tell but you cant fit movie support in 128k ,my friend is working on Movie player that is not plugin but you can laungh it from disc explorer.. but you can allready watch movies with GC linux..

Howdy. I reflashed my Viper a few minutes ago with the Cobra 1.2 including the GCoS Game Ripper. And I have to say: WOW!
Its the best solution which combines easy game-backuping and the the best bios for the Viper.
Gamecube, PSP, DS-Lite, XBOX360: All your base are belong to us ;-)

Yeah I flashed my viper with that bios too. The GCOS Ripper is great. It's the only program that I actually got a successful rip. I burned with Nero...and my games boot up great. GCOS Ripper is highly recemmended if you want a image that works.
