wmv audio problem when using DVD Author 1.6

hi iam new to converting files like wmv and avi..i been reading the poast about how to convert them and ran into a audio problem. i got wmv files and i converted it to a dvd file wit this program called zealotsoft WMV to VCD SVCD DVD Converter 1.1. i converted the file to dvd ntsc then i used TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 to make them into VIDEO_TS but for sum reason when iam using dvd author is keep saying problem occured wit the audio! cannot use 44100hz audio sampling rate for standard dvd. i dont know what to do to fix this problem is it the program that i use to convert it to dvd file that messing it up or is there a way to put the audio higher or is there a better program out there to use to convert the wmv to dvd?plz help i cant get pass this problem.

It depends by the program you use, and I don't know it. For example, if the 'authoring' application you use makes the conversion by simply loading a WAV file, you can convert the stream to WAV with HeadAChe and, again, it must be resampled 48 kHz if yout application doesn't do it, already.
Or you might need to convert the stream fo AC3, DTS... first. I don't know...
ReJug can load WAV, AC3, MPA,DTS. It can even take into account the A/V delay, if any.
If you need to make some conversions, try HeadAC3he.

i tryed an other program to join the wmv file i have like 1 movie broken down into 3 clips i got like 3 movies like this. i join them togetther wit boilsoft video joiner.and join the 3 clips toget into 1 movie clip then join the other 2 movie clips together.then i used winavi converter6.3 to convert it into dvd format and it but them into video ts & vts file i follwoed the guide that they made but when i got to burn the file it wont let me burn it keeps saying dvd-video files might not be playable and says dvd-video files reallocation failed.the audio and video r all in 1 file do i need to brake them up in order to burn it.or do i need to make them into VOB files.kinda lost at this point.

i got it to burn into a dvd i found out what i did wrong but for sum reason the audio is off by like 15seconds and i wanna know how and i fix that problem to is on time? thank you all for the help and the guides.... : )
