installed a magic 3.1 plus to my board. put it together and it reads regular games, but it gives me the reddish screen/formatted disk message. what do i do no to get it to read my back-ups? thank you very much.

it reads regular games but gives reddish screen/formatted disk message..... so in other words it doesn't read games, right? I used to have magic 3.1 and when I got that red message, it didn't read games correctly...
