Most of my games are already scratched, so I have been acquiring images for them through Shareaza. However, seeing as how the only PS2 emulator is very buggy and has extremely limited support, how am I to verify these images before burning them? It seems too risky to just start burning them. I can tell by size a fair number are fakes, and surely there are many of the proper size which will bleed me wallet fer new DVD +Rs =\

Also, is there a good site to search for how to burn each backup? http://www.gamecopyworld.com is an excellent resource for this as far as PC games go, but the PS2 section at their http://consolecopyworld.com is quite pathetic. It would be nice to have a database to see the various protections for each game and perhaps a little note on how to back them up. I'm aware I could search here, but that would take a while to weed through all the chatter for every game I back up ;)

I get my games through torrent files & they have always been the correct game and worked fine etc. I suggest you use torrents rather than general p2p programs.

You can mount the Iso using Alcohol or Daemon Tools to see how it looks and make sure its the right game. But thats no guarentee that it will work, you just gotta try it. I get my games off newsgroups as its 100% faster and reliable then torrent or edonkey/emlue.
