I bought Fuji Film DVD+R and still skipping in my sony dvd players, they are 2002 models if not earlier could it be the dvd players? Should I use DVD-R instead please help my coaster are stacking up with good media and im using hp lightscribe burner wal-mart 99$ please help im so frustrated also one pack 8x was made in japan and the new onwes i bought today 4x are made in taiwan. thanks

What speed are you burning the discs at? Try burning slower since that will often times improve compatibility :)

Have you updated the firmware for your drive?

It sure looks like the problem is the Taiwanese discs. If you haven't already, I'd knock the speed down to 2X. If that doesn't do the trick then I'd say your burner and/or players simply don't like that particular type of media. What's the manufacturer ID on the Taiwanese discs?
