I've always used Verbatim DVDs to backup my games and untill now they have worked perfectly.

This is a pic of the type of Verbatim DVDs i have backed up over a hundred of PS2 games with and they work 100% with both swap magic v2 and v3.6 on my new slim ps2 and my old v7.

And this is a pic of the new type of verbatim DVDs that wont boot on my slim PS2 (booted on v7 PS2 but had jumpy vids and took ages to load and sometimes crashes)

I burn all my discs at x1 speed on my pioneer A04 drive. Has anybody else had probs with these new Verbatim DVDs? Can somebody suggest another make i can pick up in most computer stores?

Thanks

don't use DVD-R for backups, ps2slim likes DVD+R. I use Verbatim +R
many backups later still no probs.

I thought everybody knew this fact by now, wake up dude.
